A little bit about our Center –
AHA! Studio for Integrated Therapies, LLC is a counseling and therapeutic arts center offering individual and group therapy services that provide social, emotional, and psychological support to child, families and women. AHA! Studio LLC is located at
171 East Main Street, Silverdale, Pennsylvania (Buck County) and is the only integrative counseling and therapeutic arts center within a 30-mile radius.
AHA! Studio LLC is a woman owned and operated for-profit company. Additionally, we expect to either start or partner with a non-profit or foundation who will help fund research and evidence-based creative arts therapy program services focusing on Emotional Intelligence (EQ) that can be developed into training programs for national and international implementation.
In 2005, AHA! Studio began as a solo home-based private psychotherapy practice founded by Karen DeHaven, MA, BC-DMT, LPC, sole proprietor and principal clinician.
Between 2005 and 2013, demand continued to grow for integrative therapeutic services in our growing Bucks County community.
In order to prepare to meet this need, AHA! Studio became a woman owned Limited Liability Company in 2013 in preparation for expanding our services. The founder moved out of the space in 2014 and began the legal proceedings to convert the building from a residential commercial property to a D1 medical office zoning. The decision was made to convert this property due to its convenient location to the BuxMont area and the programming options available both inside and out in the enclosed, tree shaded backyard.
AHA! Studio LLC has now completed the final stage of expanding the facilities. We are now positioned to expand the scope of the practice to provide comprehensive therapeutic services delivered by licensed practitioners with specialties in Art Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, Music Therapy, sensory integration Occupational Therapy, and Play Therapy as well as holistic psychiatry and psychological testing services. Additional complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) health services and classes will also be provided through an Affiliate program with local practitioners including nutritional counseling, naturopathy, homeopathy, herbal remedies, therapeutic massage, therapeutic yoga, and energy medicine.
Our mission is to provide the best, affordable therapeutic health and wellness services available in the area that lead to optimal social and mental health outcomes for children, their families and adults in our community.
