We respect that not everyone feels comfortable meeting by Telehealth, and so for those who wish to attend therapy sessions in person, these are the practices we are using to assure safety for all.
The Morning of your appointment, you will receive a text or email with COVID Screening questions. Please reply honestly to each question and clearly indicate if any question is a Yes or Maybe.
IF so, you will be contacted to discuss further options.
If you can reply “No to all” questions, you will be welcomed to attend your scheduled in person session.
If you are not running a fever and are in the “green” zone, please cooperate with the following practices.
1- When you arrive, please wait in your car for your therapist to invite you to the landing.
• • • • Only clients may enter the AHA! sanctuary. (Parent check-ins can be done by phone or masked on the landing at the start of your session.) • • • •
2- At the doorway, your therapist will take your temperature with a medical grade no-contact thermometer.
If you are in the Green Zone (below 99.8 degrees F) you may enter the building.
3- Please fill out a COVID Screening card (Date, Screening Questions, Temperature, Initials)
2- Wear a mask at all times indoors.
3- Use hand sanitizer provided or wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap upon arrival.
4 – Enter therapy room and take a seat. Your therapist will close the door and take a seat.
7 – The room will be wiped down and/or sterilized by UV Light for 30 minutes before and after each use.
We are pleased to offer an outdoor patio sanctuary that is secluded and secure.
IF YOU WISH TO NOT WEAR A MASK INDOORS, this is the only onsite option. Any movement through the space requires that you wear a mask (this includes if you need to use the restroom.)
You will need to sign a waiver to indicate you assume full responsibility for choosing in person unmasked outdoor sessions.
After the preliminary health safety assessment is completed, you can walk around to the LEFT of the building and enter the garden sanctuary through the gate and come up to the tented patio and choose a seat.
Your therapist will meet you on the patio.
Please remain 6-8 ft apart at all times during your session.
At the end of your 50-minute session, you can exit back through the gate.
In between sessions
In between sessions, we will also be sanitizing all knobs, light switches, and restrooms that have been used. All toys used will be rotated out of the therapy room, sanitized thoroughly, and will additionally be sterilized each night by a 1 hour exposure to our hospital grade UV light.
Your therapist will use sanitizer/wash their hands at the start and end of every session so that we are certain to provide the safest environment for you to relax in during your therapy session.
No Contact Payment
Payments (cash or check) may be inserted through the top slit in the payment box just inside the front door.
To make payment by charge card, you can place your card of choice on our secure system and your card will be charged by the end of the day of each session.
All payment matters should be directed to our Director, Karen DeHaven, by calling 215-258-5989 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
. Please DO NOT email or text any sensitive personal financial information.
